We’re partnering with Plastic Free Foundation to encourage small steps to make a big impact in reducing our local and global plastic waste. Join us, along with millions of people worldwide, in this year’s Challenge to reduce our plastic waste. You can join online or come and say hi and sign up at one of our pop up’s across our community. You’ll also find some useful tips and talks on our page to help you take small steps towards big change this Plastic Free July.

Whether you hop on a bike for recreation or to get from A to B, cycling is a healthy, environmentally friendly and enjoyable way to get around. In May and June we are shining a light on bicycle safety, so we can all share the road safely.
As a part of our Bicycle Safety Project we’re hosting three bicycle safety pop-up stalls throughout the LGA along with a Bicycle Safety Competiton. Follow the link to find out more.

This year’s National Recycling Week theme, “waste isn’t waste until it’s wasted”, takes a step beyond recycling ‘right’ and invites us to consider how we can recycle ‘better’. National Water Week 2022
National Water Week makes a splash around the country every October and we’re excited to be holding events and activities throughout the month to celebrate. Come and visit us at one of our community pop ups, join us for a facilities tour, and enter our Water Meter Challenge by Monday, 31st October for your chance to win exciting prizes!
