Recycled Water Community Information Session

Recycled water supply will commence to connected properties in Lake Cathie from Wednesday 30 September 2026.
We’re holding a community information session to help residents and property owners understand what the change means for their property, how recycled water can be used and what property owners need to know.

The session will cover:
- how and when recycled water supply will commence
- what recycled water can be used for
- identifying recycled water taps and fixtures
- property owner responsibilities
- cross-connection checks
- plumbing requirements
- where to find information and resources.
Note: Properties connected to the recycled water network have already been inspected and tested by Council to confirm the connection is correct and no cross-connections have been identified.
