Register to host or join a local clean up event

During September and October 2024 (and in support of World Clean Day on 20th September), Clean Up Australia is leading ‘The Great Spring Clean Up.’ This is the perfect opportunity for families, friends, schools, communities, or businesses to come together and make a positive impact on the environment. Join in and help improve your surroundings!

In a similar format to Clean Up Australia Day, you can register to host a local clean up in our community or at your Early Learning centre, school or business via the Clean Up Australia website. You will receive a host pack and Council will assist with a waste collection at the end of your event. Your event will also be promoted on Clean Up Australia’s interactive map, allowing others to register.

Keep an eye on Clean Up Australia’s interactive map for registered events happening in our local area over September and October. Registering in advance helps event organisers ensure enough equipment is available and also keeps everybody safe.

Join our community in shaping a cleaner future. Register now and be a part of World Clean Up Day 2024!

'Spot the Sticker' and WIN!

Batteries can spark fires and don’t belong in any of our bins.

To help our community learn how to dispose of them safely we’re giving away a $50 gift card every week for 6 weeks.

Keep your eyes peeled for our “Don’t Bin Me” battery sticker on local waste trucks and you could score a $50 gift card! Click below to learn more about the competition and how to dispose of batteries safely.
