Community Recycling Centres have been designed to collect and appropriately dispose of household problem waste items. There are five locations in the Port Macquarie Hastings region where you can drop off your problem waste.

Did you know ...
- Used oil from the car, mower or boat, or cooking oil does not belong down a drain, on the ground or in a bin.
- Waste oils dropped off at Community Recycling Centres are cleaned and processed to make more oils and lubricants.
- Oil down drains can clog pipes and sewer lines and causes negative effects on water quality and extra strain on water treatment processes.
This video was created by Midwaste , in conjunction with a group of local regional councils including Port Macquarie Hasting Council, as part of a project funded by the NSW EPA Waste Less Recycle More waste levy.
