It is common for people to walk their dogs on shared paths across the region.  Craig shares some great tips when walking your dog on shared paths to ensure everyone can feel comfortable and safe when using them.

Three tips when walking your dog on a shared path

  1. Where possible have your dog on your lefthand side and keep a short lead.
  2. Move off the path when stopping to greet other dogs and people.
  3. Approach other dogs and people slowly.
